British Judo Council (Martial Arts Circle)

This syllabus illustrates the minimum requirements for each grade, although other techniques can also be taught. Care should be taken at all levels to protect candidates by not grading them beyond their capabilities. Age and size assessment must be taken into account when grading in order to avoid the effects of both physical and mental trauma.
